Supporting Independent Living
in Camberley & Frimley
Powered by volunteers, Camberley Care has been caring for and providing help to elderly, disabled and vulnerable members of our community in Camberley and Frimley for more than 40 years.
The core of our success is the provision of a car service to assist independent living by providing reliable, safe and low-cost transport to meet medical, family and social needs.
Our handyperson service provides a reliable, safe and low-cost solution for the multitude of smaller handyman jobs around the home that typically take two hours or less to complete.
Covid-19 Update – April 20, 2020
Camberley Care has temporarily suspended its service but we are still busy. Our volunteer duty officers are calling over 150 clients each week to ensure they are well and to check if they need any help. Our handymen, following strict guidelines, have been out to several clients to help with emergencies and our office team are taking numerous calls each week, from people asking for advice and help, which we only to happy to provide.
Covid-19 Update – March 20, 2020
Taking into consideration the age vulnerability of most clients and the ages of our drivers, Camberley Care’s trustees agreed that all driver and handyman services would be suspended in full from Sunday 22 March.
The situation will be regularly reviewed in conjunction with national guidance.
If you are self-isolating and require support you are requested to contact your local support structures which are being coordinated out of High Cross Church.
